Barman and Wine Director With over 30 years of experience in wine and spirits, gained as a buyer (at Locanda Locatelli first and Giorgio Locatelli Consultancy since 2011), server (in Italy, London and around the World), and seller (working for 13 years at Berkmann Wine Cellars and sice November 2023 as Sales Director for Fortyfive10), the approach is firmly focused on supporting both clients and staff.

Teaching

    WSET Certified Educator                 Teacher for the UK               Sommelier Association       The first session was delivered over 20 years ago, and the results have been measurable. One notable success was a programme for non-alcohol drinkers thought in Dubai that generated a 63% increase in drink sales in the first week after just one session.

Drink List

With an experience spanning from 5 different position on sales, helping more than 300 restaurants as clients and more than 20 as consultancy. Looking at the purpose of the drink offer through the lens of concept, food menu, location, and staff readiness, while staying true to the owner’s vision and bringing all components together into a unified, functional offering. 

Mentoring

Experiences as both a competitor and a judge on both on UKSA and Uk association has informed a unique approach to learning and mentoring, guiding staff towards courses that deliver value for the company and foster their personal development.

Wine and Spirits Events

Wine and spirits events are offered for both HORECA professionals and private clients, including short courses with modules such as How to Talk About Wine, Food and Wine Pairings, and the Service of Wine and Spirits.
